Before the first question
Teams of 3–5; one host who does not play. Read each question twice. Allow 20–30 seconds. Collect and score after each 10-question round. Announce category and difficulty.
For a tie: the Showdown
Use Hard questions from any decade, one at a time. The first team to raise a hand with the correct answer takes the point. First to 3 Showdown points wins, with no conferring.
